Pitch
A pitch is a concise and compelling presentation of a product, service, or idea, typically delivered to a potential customer, investor, or stakeholder with the goal of generating interest or securing a commitment.
In sales, a pitch communicates:
- The problem a solution solves
- The value it delivers
- Why it’s better or different from alternatives
Pitches can take many forms, from a quick elevator pitch in conversation to a structured demo call to a formal slide presentation. The best pitches are adjusted to the listener’s specific needs, pain points, and goals, and are focused more on benefits than features.
