Value proposition
A value proposition is a clear, concise statement that explains the unique benefit a product or service delivers to a specific audience.
A strong value proposition typically communicates:
- Who the product or service is for
- What problem it solves or outcome it enables
- Why it’s better or different from competing options
Format example:
“For [target audience] who [have this problem], our [product/service] provides [key benefit], unlike [alternative] because [differentiator].”
Example:
“For remote teams struggling with disorganized files, Notion is an all-in-one workspace that combines notes, docs, and tasks. Unlike traditional tools, it’s fully customizable and built for collaboration.”
