Inbound lead velocity
Inbound lead velocity (ILV) measures the growth rate of qualified inbound leads over time, typically month-over-month. It tells you how quickly your pipeline is growing through inbound efforts and is a strong indicator of future revenue potential.
Formula:
ILV (%) = ((Number of qualified inbound leads this month – Last month’s leads) ÷ Last month’s leads) × 100
Example:
If a company had 200 qualified inbound leads last month and 240 this month, their ILV is: ((240 – 200) ÷ 200) × 100 = 20%
