Elevator pitch
An elevator pitch is a short, compelling summary of what your product, service, or company does, delivered in the time it would take to ride an elevator (typically 30 to 60 seconds). The goal is to capture attention quickly, spark curiosity, and communicate value clearly without going into deep detail.
In sales, it’s often used at the beginning of cold calls, networking events, or outreach messages to make a strong first impression.
A strong elevator pitch typically includes:
- Who it’s for (target audience)
- The core problem your product/service solves
- The outcome or value it delivers
- A clear, jargon-free explanation
Example:
‘’We help revenue teams fill their pipeline with qualified leads by combining intent data, verified contact info, and automated outreach in one platform.’’
