Inside sales
Inside sales refers to the process of selling products or services remotely, typically via phone, email, video calls, or chat, rather than meeting with prospects in person. It’s the opposite of field sales (also known as outside sales), where reps travel to close deals face-to-face.
Inside sales is a common model in SaaS and B2B sales, where reps manage the full sales cycle or collaborate with AEs (Account Executives) to qualify leads, run demos, and close deals entirely online or over the phone.
