Hybrid selling is a sales approach that combines virtual (remote) and in-person interactions throughout the buyer’s journey. It allows salespeople to adapt their communication methods based on customer preferences, deal complexity, and stage in the funnel.
Rather than relying solely on field sales or digital channels, hybrid selling relies on the combination of:
- Video calls
- On-site meetings and events
- Emails, chats, and phone calls
- Digital demos and in-person presentations
Post-2020, hybrid selling became the standard sales model for many B2B sales teams.
